Isn’t it nice to get away? I love taking tips from the places I stay when traveling to use them in my own home or design projects. Sometimes you’re just missing that extra detail that will make your bathroom feel ultra high end and inviting.
This is such an easy add on. You for sure have room for one no matter the size of bathroom and you will avoid having your bath robe laying around all the time. Honestly every time I stay in a hotel room where there is a nice fluffy robe hanging I get excited to wear it. I never do. But just the thought of it makes me feel comfortable!
Have a few pretty soaps, perfumes or lotions out for show. Group them together on a fancy tray or on a stack of hand towels. This would be a great place to add a room diffuser of your signature scent. I like to purchase products I enjoyed from hotel boutiques I’ve stayed at and use them in my home. Not only do they look fancy but they remind me of good times from that specific trip.
Hang framed photographs, postcards or prints to dress up the space and make it personal. For fun art prints I like to check out Society 6. Careful though, you could totally spend hours on there!
For toilet paper. Don’t forget to keep extras handy in the room. Make them visible if you're renovating your guest bathroom or powder room. You could also opt for a double toilet paper holder. Like this one from Kohler.
Please keep them white. Towels are not a way to add a ‘’splash of color’’. It’s tacky. White towels will always look right and compliment the room without stealing the show.
